The first phase of the NHS Covid-19 vaccination programme has started. When it is the right time people will receive an invitation to come forward. For most people this will be a letter, either from their GP or the national NHS. This letter will include all the information you will need to book appointments, including your NHS number.

Please do not contact the NHS to get an appointment until you get this letter.

Information on the vaccine is available on the NHS.UK website.

Test Results

test_vials2Want to receive an SMS notification when your test results are back? Fill in our sms consent form and drop it into surgery. When the results are back, we'll let you know by text.

Most blood test results normally take about a week to come back. X-ray, scan and other investigation results can take ten days, sometimes longer.

As our telephones are very busy in the early morning, we ask you to telephone in person for test results after 10.00 am.

To ensure confidentiality, we only release results to the patient, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing. Sometimes the doctor will suggest you make an appointment to be given a result or that he/she needs to speak to you directly. The receptionist will advise you if this is necessary.
