The Patient Participation Group has been established to enable the Practice & Patients the opportunity to work together to continuously improve the quality of services to meet the needs & expectations of the Patients.
The PPG will strive to represent the views, expectations & concerns of patients in an evidenced & constructive manner so that actions & decisions may be taken in the best interests of the patient population. Obviously, to do that effectively, we need to hear your points of view.
We are seeking to expand the group to ensure as wide a range of views as possible are expressed & debated so that we may give clear & evidenced guidance to enable the Practice to continuously review & improve its services.
For those patients wishing to make a contribution, but unable to attend the PPG Meetings, a Virtual Reference Group has been created to enable patients & carers to voice their views, in a clear, regular & formal way, on the current & proposed service provision by the Leylands Practice at both the Leylands Medical Centre & Wrose Health Centre.
The PPG will seek the views of the Virtual Reference Group on key health topics & proposals for change through formal surveys & ad hoc contacts on specific issues as they arise. Contact will generally be made via email, but may occasionally be made via telephone if approved by the member.
The PPG will publicize and promote plans, projects & proposed changes on its noticeboards at Leylands & Wrose.
Applications for Patient Participation Group & Virtual Reference Group Membership are open to all registered patients & carers of registered patients.
